About Me

I am a West Michigan native and life has blessed me with the opportunities to call other places “home,” but it has brought me full circle back to the mitten. I am married to the love of my life, have two amazing adult married daughters, and two adorable grandchildren.

My career has allowed me to contribute to both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Each of these opportunities has allowed me to explore my passions and grow my skills. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, outdoor activities, and traveling.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been intrigued by what makes people unique, why they choose the paths in life that they do, and what makes them happy and satisfied with those choices.

What I love about the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is that it shows people what is unique about themselves and often provides an “aha” moment as they explore their own self-awareness.

What I love about the Strong Interest Inventory is that it leads people to satisfying career options, fields of study, and work environments, sometimes in the most surprising ways.

Both of these assessments are excellent tools for those just starting to search for or considering a career change, college students preparing to start a career, or high school students exploring fields of study and career options.
