Assessments provide different but complementary insights. Depending on your goals, you may benefit from taking one or both.

·  The MBTI focuses on your personality preferences—how you naturally take in information, make decisions, communicate, and approach work and life.

·  The Strong Interest Inventory focuses on your interests—the subjects, activities, career fields, and work environments you may find rewarding.

No. An assessment is a guide, not a test that assigns you one “perfect” career. Your results identify patterns, possibilities, and areas worth exploring. They are meant to support thoughtful decision-making while also considering your abilities, values, experiences, education, and goals.

The process depends on the service you select, but generally:

  1. Submit a request through the website.
  2. Receive via email the information and instructions needed to complete your assessment.
  3. Complete the assessment online.
  4. Receive your personalized report.
  5. If included with your selected service, schedule a virtual meeting to review your results and discuss your next steps.

Yes. Assessments are completed online. Some options also include an online, self-guided interpretation experience. Consultations included with select services are held virtually.

During your consultation, we’ll review your results in clear, practical language. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions, explore how the findings relate to your education or career goals, and identify possible next steps.

The goal is not simply to hand you a report—it is to help you understand and use the information confidently.

Parent involvement can be helpful, particularly for high school students. The level of participation should support the student’s independence while giving families a shared understanding of the results and possible next steps. Contact Career Ready Solutions to discuss what arrangement would work best for your family.

Your assessment results are confidential and will be handled with care. If you have questions about privacy, sharing results with a parent, or who may participate in a consultation, please ask before beginning the process.

We are happy to help answer all your questions. Visit the Contact page to ask a question, learn more about the available assessments, or find the best place to begin.
